Born and raised in the United States,Stacy Bergener’s artistic journey began early on. She pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Surface Design from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she honed her technical skills and developed her distinctive aesthetic. To further her understanding of the therapeutic potential of art, she obtained a Certificate in Creative Arts Therapies from the New School, New York. This certification deepened her commitment to using art as a tool for healing and self-expression.
She has generously volunteered with Free Arts NY, an afterschool art mentoring program that operates in underserved neighborhoods in New York. Her dedication to providing artistic opportunities to children and young adults in disadvantaged communities reflects her belief in the transformative power of art and its capacity to inspire and empower.
In recognition of her artistic talent and dedication to the arts, Stacy Bergener was selected as the Artist in Residence for a month at The Kriti Gallery in Varanasi, India. This prestigious opportunity allowed her to immerse herself in a vibrant cultural landscape and interact with local artists.
